We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics & AI Manager to lead the delivery of analytics & AI based solutions that help clients and stakeholders make better decisions through data. This role sits at the intersection of people leadership, delivery management, stakeholder engagement, and analytics expertise. As a leader within the team, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of analytics & AI based initiatives, developing consultants and analysts, and building trusted relationships with clients and business stakeholders. You will bring a strong understanding of reporting, dashboarding, data transformation, performance measurement, business analytics, and AI applied in data analytics/data science context, while maintaining a practical focus on delivering outcomes and value. This role is ideal for an experienced analytics & AI professional who enjoys leading teams and working directly with stakeholders to solve complex business challenges. While experience with cloud platforms, software development or advanced analytics is valuable, the primary focus is on strong analytics fundamentals, AI applied in an analytics context, business engagement and delivery leadership. What You'll Be Doing You will lead a team of analytics professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and direction to support both project delivery and individual development. You'll create an environment where team members can grow their technical and consulting capabilities while delivering high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders. A significant part of the role involves partnering with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities. You'll help shape analytics & AI solutions that address real business needs, translating complex requirements into practical reporting, dashboarding, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of analytics & AI initiatives, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, technically sound, and aligned to stakeholder expectations. This may include everything from defining KPI frameworks, modelling and AI approaches and reporting strategies to managing data transformation activities and guiding the development of dashboards and analytical products. As a manager, you'll also play an important role in driving the maturity Scyne’s Data & AI practice. You'll promote best practice approaches, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and help evolve our analytics & AI capabilities in line with changing business and client needs. Key areas of responsibility include: Managing stakeholder relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Leading and developing a team of analysts and consultants. Overseeing the delivery of dashboards, reports, metrics, analytics and AI solutions. Defining and governing KPI frameworks and performance reporting. Managing project priorities, delivery risks, and resource allocation. Driving analytics & AI best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contributing to capability development across data, analytics, AI, and reporting disciplines. About You You are a well-rounded analytics & AI professional with experience leading teams and delivering analytics & AI outcomes in complex environments. You combine strong technical foundations with excellent communication skills and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. You understand that effective analytics & AI sis about more than technology. You can connect business goals to meaningful insights, bring clarity to ambiguous problems, and guide teams in delivering solutions that have a measurable impact. You will likely bring experience in: Leading analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data teams. Delivering reporting and dashboarding solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Working with data transformation processes in Python, Alteryx and SQL-based data environments. Using AI in an analytics context to deliver projects and build solutions in a fast moving client environment. Developing KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement frameworks. Managing stakeholder relationships across business and technology domains. Delivering projects or consulting engagements within complex organisational environments. Coaching and developing team members to achieve both professional and delivery outcomes. Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms, data engineering practices, software development, or modern data architectures would be advantageous, but is not essential. What Success Looks Like Success in this role will be measured not only by the quality of analytics solutions delivered, but by the strength of stakeholder relationships, the growth and engagement of your team, and your ability to help public purpose organisations use data more effectively to drive decisions and outcomes. You'll be someone who can comfortably move between strategic conversations with senior leaders, delivery discussions with project teams, and technical conversations with analysts and developers.
