Join us! Lead a Major NAVAIR Program Office Support Team! Description: We are seeking an experienced Contract Program Manager / Operations Manager to lead contractor support for PMA-226, the NAVAIR Adversary and Specialized Aircraft Program Office. The selected candidate will serve as the primary contractor interface for program execution, staffing, contract administration, cost, schedule, performance, quality, and resource management. This position requires a senior leader who can direct a geographically distributed team supporting program management, acquisition, financial management, configuration management, Foreign Military Sales, administrative operations, and aviation sustainment activities while maintaining responsive support to Government leadership. The successful candidate will manage competing priorities, ensure qualified staffing and continuity of operations, and provide disciplined oversight of contract deliverables and performance across the task order. Responsibilities: Serve as the working-level primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on program, project, and contract administration issues. Provide leadership, direction, and supervision across program management, acquisition, financial management, administrative, configuration management, and related support functions. Develop management procedures and controls; plan and direct task-order execution; and monitor and report cost, schedule, performance, risks, and issues. Ensure timely staffing of qualified contractor personnel and maintain adequate coverage across required Government work locations. Manage and prioritize resources across simultaneous work efforts in support of PMA-226 requirements. Oversee monthly status, expenditure, personnel roster, quality control, transition, OPSEC, cybersecurity, and other contract deliverables and management requirements. Coordinate interim and final project reviews, corrective actions, and process improvements with Government leadership and contractor management. Support transition-in and transition-out activities to protect mission continuity, data transfer, and knowledge retention. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, engineering, public administration, or a related discipline. 10+ years of professional experience performing program management, operations management, or equivalent duties on large or critical Government support efforts. Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing staffing, cost, schedule, performance, and competing priorities. Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management / collaboration tools. U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret security clearance is required. Preferred Qualifications: Program management experience supporting NAVAIR contracts or other Naval Aviation programs. Experience managing contract deliverables, quality control, transition planning, staffing, and financial reporting on Federal contracts. Familiarity with NAVAIR program office operations, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and acquisition lifecycle support. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant Defense acquisition certification. Prior military service or experience supporting military aviation programs.
