Description: ACT1 Federal is seeking a Visual Support Services professional to support the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies (TSC), a Department of War regional center located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. The selected candidate will provide all aspects of graphic design support to the Center. This position is primarily on-site, with occasional situational telework. Responsibilities: Develop, refine, update, and maintain visual branding for the TSC, including branding books, publicity templates, and other print and digital visual products related to TSC mission activities. Collaborate with the TSC Strategic Communications Advisor and Public Affairs Officer to develop print and digital visual products in support of the Center’s mission, including posters, brochures, slide templates, graphic support for documents, banners, and products for special events. Collaborate with TSC Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, and the Web Designer to create and update visual elements for the Center’s website. Embed video and other media assets into webpages and multimedia products as required. Perform basic video editing and manage video files, including trimming and segmenting Zoom/Teams recordings and uploading files to designated sites or storage locations. Provide additional visual services support as directed, including designing new visual assets, updating existing branding materials, supporting multimedia integration, managing digital and print visual products, and assisting with video production and file management to meet evolving Center needs. Requirements: Active Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s degree in a visual communication-related field and/or graphic design/visual arts certification. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in U.S. Government computer systems. Web design experience. Knowledge of Department of War web policies and regulations.
